Chapter 31: Ishira’s Flash Drive

Some truths cut deeper than betrayal.

Especially when they come wrapped in a red silk lie.

---

Scene 1: The Playback

Yoongi slid the flash drive into his laptop.

You sat beside him, hands clenched.

Aahana was asleep upstairs.

The screen flickered to life.

Your father appeared—older, sharper, angrier.

Beside him sat Ishira, younger, voice hesitant.

“You promised I’d have a say in Legacy,” she said.

“Legacy isn’t about feelings. It’s about bloodlines,” your father snapped.

“Raayan’s the only one with the spine to carry it forward.”

“What about Y/N?” she asked softly.

“She’s too soft. She fell in love with an idol. That makes her disposable.”

Your breath hitched.

Yoongi’s jaw locked.

Then… another voice.

Raayan.

“Then let’s use her. Use their child. Imagine the scandal. An idol’s daughter—raised inside Legacy.”

You felt the world tilt beneath you.

---

Scene 2: Ishira’s Confession (On Tape)

The video continued.

Ishira was crying.

“I can’t do this. Aahana’s innocent.”

“You owe me,” your father said coldly.

“I made you. I gave you your place.”

“And I’ll take it back,” she hissed.

“One day, you’ll see what it means to burn everything down.”

The feed cut to black.

Silence.

Until Yoongi whispered:

“She wasn’t just a traitor. She was their weapon. And now… she regrets it.”

---

Scene 3: The Breakdown

You couldn’t breathe.

Every word felt like a blade.

“He called me disposable…”

Yoongi turned you to face him, hands cupping your cheeks.

“You were never disposable. Not to me. Not to Aahana. You’re the reason we’re still standing.”

You broke—tears, sobs, pain too long buried.

“I thought I left all this behind. I thought I escaped…”

“You didn’t escape,” he said gently.

“You survived. And now… we fight.”

---

Scene 4: Ishira’s Final Visit

Three days later, Ishira came alone.

No security. No silk.

Just sorrow.

“I know you watched it.”

You didn’t answer. Just stared.

She placed an old bracelet on the table—your childhood charm.

“I never meant to hurt you. But I did. I know that.”

“Why now?” you asked.

She hesitated.

“Because Raayan’s next move isn’t business. It’s personal. He wants Aahana to disappear for two years. Groom her. Rewire her. And then reintroduce her to the world as a Legacy-born prodigy.”

Yoongi stepped forward.

“Over my dead body.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of,” she whispered.

“He’s already hiring people to make that happen.”

---

Scene 5: The Unbreakable Bond

That night, the three of you slept in one room.

Yoongi lay awake between you and Aahana.

“We protect her. With everything we’ve got.”

You nodded.

“We fight smart. Not scared.”

Downstairs, the charm bracelet gleamed in the moonlight.

A relic of the past.

A promise for the future.
