Chapter 29: Enemies in the Industry

Fame is a crown.

But sometimes, it’s made of knives.

Scene 1: The Accusation

A clip surfaced—edited, malicious.

A known idol, Rika, stood in front of cameras:

“It’s sad, really. Suga sunbae using his daughter to rebuild his image after going quiet for so long. That poor girl’s just a pawn.”

You and Yoongi watched in stunned silence.

“Rika was always jealous,” he muttered.

“But this? This is war.”

---

Scene 2: The Threat

It came in a small pink envelope.

Disguised as fan mail.

Inside—Aahana’s photo.

A red X over her eyes.

And one line:

“If she sings again, she won’t make it to the chorus.”

Yoongi gripped the table so hard it cracked.

You snatched the letter, shaking.

“This isn’t just about music anymore. Someone wants her silenced.”

---

Scene 3: The Mole

Namjoon arrived late at night, face grim.

“We traced the leak. HYBE has a mole.”

“Who?” Yoongi asked.

Namjoon looked between you both.

“Your old manager… Jae. He’s been feeding Raayan updates. Photos. School schedules. Private rehearsals.”

Your heart dropped.

He was there when Aahana was born.

He was family.

“He sold us,” you whispered.

---

Scene 4: The Confrontation

Yoongi tracked Jae to a rooftop bar.

Didn’t bring security. Just rage.

“Why her?” Yoongi asked, voice cold.

Jae sipped his drink.

“It was always going to be her. Raayan just made it happen faster.”

“She’s a child, damn it.”

“She’s the future. And your silence made room for the next generation. Legacy isn’t evil, Yoongi—it’s evolution.”

Yoongi threw the glass against the wall.

“You’re done. And if you come near my family again…”

He didn’t finish.

But the threat hung heavier than the silence.

---

Scene 5: Protection Mode

You moved out of your apartment that night.

To a hidden residence Taehyung helped secure.

Security doubled. Schedules hidden.

Aahana didn’t understand.

“Why can’t I go to school?”

You knelt in front of her.

“Because you’re too special. And special things… get protected.”

She hugged you, tiny arms full of trust.

“As long as I have you and Appa, I’m okay.”

---

Ending Scene: Aahana's Decision

Later that night, she stood at the window.

A notebook in hand.

You and Yoongi peeked.

She was writing her first song.

Title: “I Choose to Sing.”

Underneath, she scribbled:

“Even if they’re scared of me, I won’t be scared of myself.”
